Abstract
Previous results and theories concerning the emission of light from frozen solutions of pyrene in hydrocarbon solvents are examined in the context of the present experiments. It is suggested that the results are due to the formation of pyrene crystals, which exhibit ?excimer? fluorescence.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9710249
