Abstract
Three species of mistletoe growing on Nerium oleander have been shown to extract selectively cardiac glycosides from the host plant. The substances selected were the three most polar glycosides present in the leaves of N. oleander and have been identified as strospeside, neritaloside, and odoroside H. These glycosides had been previously isolated from the seeds of N. oleander.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9610449
